Drawing on more than 22 years in the industry, with much of that time spent working as lead Theme Park digital expert and visual concept artist, Mark is unashamedly passionate in his approach to responsive, commercially-savvy creative results, be it concept design, digital rendering, website UI design & development, animation, virtual reality or augmented reality technology.

An early adopter of web technologies, Mark was developing online solutions before most of us cottoned on to the power of the Internet.

Prior to forming Biscuit Mark was Creative Director for Asia Online. He thrives in the technology-driven disciplines of web strategy, digital, 360 video, SEO, online marketing strategies, 3D modelling/ character development (3D M&M's Character development for packaging), digital illustration, video editing, Apps and VR + AR techs. Mark thrives on new methods, tools and anything technology and offers the most cutting edge solutions to his clients.

He is equally at home with traditional art and design crafts such as illustration, oil painting, sculpting (clay) character illustration, theme park visualisation & park map illustration and loves the challenge of integrating these into high-personality, effective, contemporary visual solutions.

Mark has worked with: Mars Confectionery, Sinapore Airlines, ALF, Funfields, Mitsubishi Motors, Macquarie Bank, Xerox, Adventure Park, Sydney Olympic Park, Fairy Park and Europcar.

As Creative Director with 18 years experience, Paula is a design purist focused on creating effective, distinctive visual solutions having learnt her craft through one of Australia’s most prestigious design faculties. Over her distinguished career, Paula has accumulated almost a decade of Theme Park experience, resulting in award winning results that capture audiences attention and continually pushes the boundaries of design and creative marketing.

It’s easy to say you’re a “people person” but Paula lives it … she fosters strong client relationships and fully commits to delivering a hands-on approach to every project aspect.

Paula lists her specialties as: creating strong customer connections through advertising, branding, typography, social media, design, online engagement strategies and print based applications and logo marks.

Her brand lineup includes: Bendigo Bank, Macquarie Bank, Visy Board, U-Vet Werribee Animal Hospital (University of Melbourne), Funfields, Adventure Park, Barwon Health Foundation, Fisheries Vic, Deakin Uni, Fairy Park, Guymer Bailey Architects and Dodo.

With thought-provoking design as her professional hallmark, Paula truly understands how to use visual impact to promote business, build brand awareness and inspire customer action/loyalty.

Paula recently completed a short 18 months consultation position at U-Vet Werribee Animal Hospital (University of Melbourne) providing creative services and advise across Customer Engagement, Marketing, Branding, Culture and commercialisation of a semi autonomous organisation dealing with over 10 specialist vet departments and over 150 staff. Paula played a pivotal role in seeing the organisation easily beat monthly turnover month on month for 14 months and helped transformed the business setting it on a new, effective trajectory in the marketplace.

Paula also provided the rebranding design solutions including U-Vet Logo & Brand Styling and all supportive materials across advertising, customer materials, social media, signage, interior design, website and developed creative and execution of U-Vet’s Dog Lovers Show stand.

Mark's passion lies in the satisfaction of seeing people having amazing times and truly believes in the power of creating magical memories for all. This ethos applies to all elements of attraction experiences from attractions to food and drinks and the customer service experience.

His commercial mindset works in concert with a passion for delivering a consistently high-quality standard of product & customer service experience. As a senior manager with Merlin Ents. (now the second largest attractions group in the world), Mark was part of the executive team overseeing 2 Theme Parks (2.6m attendees per annum) & took Thorpe Park from a business in decline with just 880,000 p.a. attendances to over 1.3 m. in just 3 years, now achieving close to 2 m. visits per annum.

From Nov 2010 to Dec 2016 Mark was the CEO of award winning WA Theme Park "Adventure World". During this period the business saw strong growth through excellence of service/product & a targeted marketing strategy, resulting in a doubling of attendances & the highest Trip Advisor rating of any major theme park/amusement park or water park in Australia.

Mark has worked in the UK, USA and Australia and has benchmarked well over 80 Parks during his career. Mark holds an MBA with a services marketing focus, is a fellow of both the Australian Institute of Management and the International institute of Directors and Managers and has held a number of board positions related to Tourism marketing and Training.

He is also an AIM mentor, Victoria Tourism Industry Council Awards Judge and keynote speaker as well as having so far raised over $37,000 for the homeless as a participant in the annual Vinnies CEO Sleepout.

Bachelor of Engineering (Product Design) (Honours) Swinburne University of Technology.

As a passionate themepark expert and avid product design engineer, Luke is drawn to the creation and development of unforgettable experiences. His product design engineering skillset combines two traditionally separate disciplines, mechanical engineering and industrial design, with an empathetic, ‘user-centred’ design approach. His genuine concern for the customer and their needs is paramount in delivering maximum impact products, attractions and experiences.

As a product design engineer Luke‘s customer and user-focussed methodology are his hallmark, with mindful thinking and meticulous technical planning and execution he is able to create functional and innovative solutions.

To compliment his skills in product design engineering, Luke has hands on knowledge and working experience inside themeparks working in customer service roles, business operations, ride operations, advisory roles and coaching.

This experience has provided him with invaluable knowledge into the day-to-day operations of function centres, themeparks and family entertainment centre (FECs).

Luke debuted into the Themed Entertainment Industry by working as the Lead Attraction Designer for Funfields’ new (for 2017/18 season) ‘VOODOO’ attraction. Working in tandem with Funfields and Biscuit®, he was responsible for the overall thematic design, story and guest experience of the attraction. High quality conceptual artwork, 3D renders and 2D technical documentation was created to help communicate ride hardware placement, landscaping, artificial rock work, ride signage, queue layouts and colour schemes to builders and contractors.

Luke is currently working closely with one of the Gold Coast's top theme Parks, Aussie World on projects to be released very soon.
